Course covers content related to cannabis cultivation center operations including cannabis cultivation, processing, transportation, and disposal, facility requirements related to cannabis cultivation, cannabis plant monitoring systems for tracking seed to sale, state regulations and inspections, and biosecurity measures.

Botany and Cultivation of Cannabis  

Laboratory course focuses on the anatomical and biological aspects of the cannabis plant. Students will work with the cannabis plant or a substitute plant. Content includes seed to harvest cannabis growth cycle, plant health, agricultural cultivation techniques, state regulations of industry standards, and structural and physiological aspects of cannabis including terpenes, cannabinoids, and the pharmacokinetics of cannabis.

Prerequisite: CNB 101 and CNB 106 with a minimum grade of C.
