The Internship Program assists Oakton students in finding, applying and interviewing for internships with local businesses related to their field of study and future career goals. Internships are part-time, short-term, work-based learning opportunities that are usually paid. Student interns gain work experience, build skills and competencies, grow their professional network, apply and expand classroom knowledge and improve their resume with industry-specific experience.
