The Internship Program assists Oakton students in finding internships with local businesses related to their field of study and future career goals. Internships are part-time, short-term, work-based learning opportunities that are usually paid. Student interns gain work experience, build skills and competencies; grow their professional network; apply classroom learning and expand classroom knowledge; and improve their resume with industry-specific experience.
