Program Learning Outcomes
- Demonstrate a basic understanding of the developmental needs of children ages 0 – 2 years.
- Plan and execute appropriate activities that support all areas of infant/toddler development.
- Plan a safe, healthy learning environment that reflects fundamental knowledge of state and national standards for providing appropriate care for infants and toddlers.
- Articulate orally and in writing the role of observation, planning, documentation, and assessment of growth, development, and learning of infants and toddlers.
- Upon completion of the Basic Infant Toddler Certificate and documentation of all required observation hours and practical experience, be eligible to apply for the IL Infant Toddler Credential, Level 2.
