Program Learning Outcomes

  1. Demonstrate an understanding of the basic principles of design as they apply to photographic media.
  2. Use the basic tools of photographic production, including the mastery of materials, equipment, techniques, and processes used in digital photography, lighting, film, and the processing of images.
  3. Demonstrate a functional knowledge of the history of photography and its aesthetic development.
  4. Create a portfolio of work to demonstrate acquisition of the necessary skills.
